I am currently taking bookings for students starting sixth year in Sept 2010 that are finding the Chemistry course difficult. I can teach the entire course or just focus on certain aspects the student is having difficulty with.

LC 2010 had a high failure rate in both chemistry and biology. I would like to say well done to all my students, they all received A’s B’s and no one less than a C1 on higher level papers! I am very proud of you all!

My Profile:
I have a BSc(hons) in Chemistry.I have also studied microbiology, cell biology, molecular biology and pharmacology extensively and taken minors in maths physics and geology. I am available to teach chemistry, biology and geography leaving cert grinds and junior cert science and geography grinds.
I have my own transport allowing me to give grinds at the students home or at the most convenient location for the student.
I can help the student on areas they are having difficulty with or go through the course from start to finish. I know all three courses very well, I will provide excellent notes and class plans. I understand the importance of timing and being able to apply the information learned to exactly what the question is asking. I will teach the student good exam technique and stress the point of practicing exam past papers on each topic as it is covered.

I have 4 yrs of tutoring experience and have taught a large number of students in the past two academic years.

Leaving Cert 2009 I had 5 students all achieving A’s and B’s at higher level.

Academic year 2009/2010 I have 12 students ranging from Junior cert to first year university level all awaiting exam results.
