We do exam questions but we dont correct them because it "takes too much time". im okay studying it but we dont get any help on how to go about answering questions
The Census question came up the last time there was one too (2006) so it's quite likely to make an appearance again this year I'd say. Some uses of the Census:
1) Population change: A census shows the extent of change of a country's population over a period of time (5 years in Ireland).
2) Labour Market: The findings can be used to assess the changes in the labour market and potential changes that may occur in the future.
3) Profiles: The census compiles information about the population such as sex, religion, marital status, nationality, employment status, etc. which may be useful to policy-makers.
4) Future Investment: The findings can be used to predict future demand for essential services such as education, etc.
There are others but these are fairly solid examples.

One of the possible topics on the exam this year, in my opinion, is the advantages and disadvantages of a Minimum Wage cut. What do ye think? Good or bad??...view answers
Economists have always said that having a Minimum Wage causes unemployment because employers are forced to pay more to employees that they would like and so they only take on the minimum amount of people. So does this mean that the recent cut in our MW will cause an decrease in unemployment?
That's the way most people are I think. Micro is always the favourite. You'll have to come to grips with a bit of macro though because you'll have to do at least one macro long question. What's confusing you in particular?
