Yes isn’t it lovely …. it’s just a pity there is not one inch of snow out here.  I live in north cork and you’ll probably guess we still have to go to school, it seems we are immune to the snow that has took over the rest of the country with media headlines including 

“It’s going snowhere fast as record lows sweep in”

Yes in big letters, it quichly caught my eye and I thought is there no God out there? However saying that, only six people from my biology class turned up and we still continued on the course, and our french teacher has gone missing all week. Don’t worry though, she was quickly replaced by another french teacher who allowed us to watch youtube during class. We’re also finally getting our french grinds after school starting tomarrow, the only problem with that, is that it clashes with my chemistry ones. So I have no idea how I am going to wiggle my way out of that one, but I will keep my fingers crossed.

I’ve started studying for my christmas tests … but to be honest, I didn’t start this week, I’m not sure when I started but I think it was some time in mid-Novemeber, but anyway, I want to say that it is currently going well, I’ve got 4 poets to learn and the comparitive for the english exam, and so far I have 1 poet (Frost) and 4 poems done of Hopkins. I think the other 2 I will study will probably be Rich and Kavanagh.

Bio is going brilliant as per usual and French … I suppose it’s french. Our teacher gave us 1040 words to learn, spread across 12 A4 sheets and I think I’m the only one still learning them. I’m currently on page 7, and have no idea how many words I’ve learned. My current tactic is 20 words a day and I think when I started it would take me 50 something days. I have no idea though when I will be finished anymore, but hopefully I’ll be finished that and have a few essays prepared for the x-mas exams.

Also, I’ve got my plan worked out for the pree, I’m going to get 4 pree papers this week, Chem, Bio, Maths and Physics, because these are the four subjects I need A1’s in for the leaving cert and I am going to test myself and treat it like my actual leaving cert. I want to then analyse my results see my weak points and hopefully do better in feb. I’m not expecting all A’s in the pree, but hopefully I’ll have atleast 500-ish.
