   are all the formulas that we need to know in the log tables? if not what ones do we need to learn?

   I don't think any of the alpha and beta ones are... Tried looking for them earlier and couldn't find them but I could have easily missed them!... I know they arnt really formulae either but it's worth looking over the tougher ones!

   i don't think these ones are in it:
   n/2(n+1) and n/6(n+1)(2n+1)
