Lads I was wondering how many pages does my Lear single text question, my comparative and my poetry need to be?
And I know it's quality not quantity and all that shit but what's expected?

seriously it realli is jst the quality of the stuff u write..my teacher corrects the papers nd she says ter is no mention at all about length in the marking sceme ..so write as much as u can i guess ..good luck
Okay I get that but to be honest 2 pages of comparative is obviously too little! Taking the length of the exam into account, how long should each answer work out to be in relation to the marks going for each?
single text ..3 to 4 pages ...comparative about 4 or 5 nd poetry 3 or 4
Hi rob, what I would suggest is 3 pages per 50marks which would mean
-poetry is 3pages
-comparative and Lear is about 4 and a third pages
by doing this you are not wabbling and wasting the corrector time=happy corrector=more points!
6 for Lear, 8 for the comparative, page and a bit for the poetry and 5 pages for the prescribed poetry! I had 21 a4s done in my mocks!
Your Crazy that's the surest way to piss off corrector what did u get in pre??
i know you're looking for guidelines but tbh just go with it quality over quantity and all that... I only wrote 2 and a half pages on king lear in my mocks and got almost full marks!
i've always done at least 5 pages for evrything. its wat our teacher made us do.
i just hope i hav time in the exam for that..not much of a fast writer
Thanks alot lads!
I'ma go with sonygirl on this one.
Thanks for everything.
Good luck tomorrow to all of you!
Let me know how it goes for you all!
