    Hey I really wana go to the gaelo this year buTt theres only onee thing, nonee oF my friends are goin, not even any one I know
    Ive been to the gaelo before but with a group of friends but I'm just wondering is it scary goin on your own?

    No, not at all! I have always went with friends, but it's usually the people who go on their own that enjoy it the most!
    If you're doing honours for the LC, a trip to the Gaeltacht is invaluable! It's amazing coming up to the orals the difference between the people that have been and those that haven't!

    i think it is better to go without a friend. if you go with a person you know you will probably stick with that person and not make as much friends of make close friendships. but people who go alone the kind-of have to. also when you go alone you might feel comfortable to do stuff that you might not be around your old friends. they won't be expecting you to behave in a particular manner.
