   EXAMCRAFT HL:

   Irish Art: Q.discuss the development of stone sculpture in ireland from newgrange to the high crosses of the 9th and 10th centuries AND name and describe in detail one example of stonework from during this time (i did the Turoe stone)

   Q. compare and contrast the derrynaflan and ardagh chalices AND name and discuss another example of metalwork from this time (assuming the Tara Brooch)

   European Art: Q. name and discuss a painting depicting: horror or anguish (?) OR the madonna and the child OR water OR a work by Matisse (there were one or two other options) AND name and discuss briefly another painting by the same artist or from the same category

   Michelangelo also came up as a separate Q!

   Appreciation: Q. write a newspaper report about a gallery exhibition you attended (inc lighting, layout, range of work displayed) AND discuss 2 works that interested you

   Q. about graphic design (involving a poster you have made during the course, materials used etc) AND discuss how modern technology affects a graphic designer.
