I'm repeating my leaving,in a private school in Dublin.I've had to move up there too.I don't mind repeating buuuut my old/''best'' friends never bother with me anymore and im finding it pretty tough...Such a crappy time don't know what to do...I'm pretty cut up about it..I come home and the weekends but i never see them..My best friend spends all her time in college/at home with her boyfriend..all my other friends txt but i rarely see them..Help anyone?

Hey.
I'm repeating too and have also lost close contact with my friends that have gone onto college. I don't go out with them at the weekends cuz I go to classes on Sat and I'm just so wrecked from not getting home from school til half 8 and then having my Saturdays taken up. Because of this, it's pretty rare I actually see them but we do text and bebo/facebook.
It's 5 more months. After that, your free to do whatever you want with them. That's how I deal with missing the regular chats and funny nights out I had with them.

Don't worry about it seriously - I've found that I've made a while new set of friends in college, I've fallen out of regular contact with most of school friends, might facebook each other once in a while, but thats about it.
as galwaygirl said, it is only five more months and then freedom! Keep focused on that goal

I know how you feel, Cluless. It's especially hard now that the mocks are around the corner and the hard work has to take over! It's tough, but another reminder of how much we're giving up to get what we want. It'll be worth it next September!

Thanks girls,ye both are right i just need to put things in perspective!It sucks how everything changes and it just happens so fast..ive heard ppl say it before but i just thought it was some silly cliche! How are you guys coping with all the stress? x
