I've only done paper one so far but I'm doing paper 2 tomorrow so I'll let you know what comes up if you haven't done it already. So far everyone's been saying Geibheann and Caca Milis and a question on Máire.
Comprehension 1 - about the Basque country and language and some race that they do to raise awareness (I think!) Comprehension 2 - about Jedward and the impact of the recession on young people. Geibheann - location, emotions, poet, what affect did the poem have on you. Cáca Milis - something about stress from the start of the film until the end. A thig ná tit orm - Love and Humour are expressed in the novel, an Trial Q: príomthéama (main theme in general)
Éiceolaí is the dánta breise
Also)
the poetry question is on Geibhien , they require you to write on four topics .
1. the setting
2 . the emotions
3 . what the poem says bout the poet
4 . your personal repsonse to poem

B- shoes an ac generator in diagram. Have to draw a graph of induced voltage as a function of time. There factors that determine magnitude of voltageDraw diagram of induction coil, give use Why do transformers work for ac not dc energy comps transmit at high voltage. WhyTwo factors that less to energy losses in transformers
Section A:
Question 1 was the experiment with the pendulum on the string and you had to draw a graph for it and you also had to figure out the weight of the string.
Question 2 was a question on the specific fusion of ice, know precautions
Question 3 was the experiment for the fundamental frequency on a stretched string
Question 4 was on the experiment to verify Joules Law draw apparatus, calculate mass of water
Section B:
Question 5:
Why rockets can slow down by expelling gas. Work out the speed of the ball on a 30 degree angled hill that takes 2 seconds to travel along. List the forces (gravitational, strong nuclear etc) in increasing order. Something involving a thermostat and thermocouple. Scientist who discovered radioactivity, capacitor, optic fibres
Question6: Centripetal Force, gravition, Derive T squared, period of a satellite, acc. due to gravity, geostationary orbit
Question 7:
Part a) Concave lense. Drawing two diagrams for it. What eye problem uses a concave lense. Working out the power of someones lense needed or soemthing similar.
Part b) A sharp image is produced of a TV a certain distance away where do you need to place the lense to get a second sharp image
Question 8:Electromagnetism, lenzs law,etc.
Question 9: Resistance, derive resistance in parallel
Question 11:
An article about Japan and the earthquake affecting the nuclear power plant. Make sure to know nuclear fission and fusion. Why would you use fusion. How does fusion occur involving the sun the eqn. for it.
Question 12:
A) Archimedes Principle. Measuring how much of an object is above the water level. How much water is needed to cover the object.
B) Doppler Effect
C) Electric charge between 4C and -5 charge across 40cm distance. Where would you place a -6 charge so the -5 charge would not move.
D) Something to do with Einstein and photons, how his photoelectric laws explain the photoelectric effect.
french journal is you broke up with your boyfriend/girlfriend and write your reaction.
question 4a is on the rate of emigration in ireland and how it is rising and what you think can be done.
question 1 a is on how people and culture are just as important as the countryside and history of a country for tourism
Section 1.
1.Question about trace elements in the human diet. A couple of other foody questions. Another question about a fat soluable vitamin and deficiency.
2.Ecology easy stuff.
3.Weird propogation question I can't remember completely, didn't do it.
4.Photosynthesis
5.Respiration
6.Alveoli
Section 2
1. Investigation of growth of leaf yeast on agar plate experiment.
2. Effect of temperature on enzyme.
3. The one where you put seeds on an aegar plate and see if they've started digesting the nutrient medium? I can't remember experiment name.
Section 3
1.Ecology easy enough stuff. I'd learn the carbon cycle if I were you.
2. Homeostasis, amoeba, something else (kidney maybe?)
3.Genetic crosses and DNA stuff.

5.Part a b c answer 2: Brain/Sensory Neuron, Human Reproduction willy diagram and other stuff, heart heart diagram and heartbeat.
6. Plant reproduction. Genetic engineering.
Additionally, more info on specific things-
Know everything there is to know on the brain E.G. The areas.
DNA - Rna and biomolecules
Kidneys - Where and what hormone is secreted
Bacteria - Know the growth phases.
Protista ( Ameoba ) - Draw and label 3 areas ( excluding contractile vacuole )
Heart - Label it and show where the blood flows. Also explain heartbeat.
Ecology - You must know food pyramid , the limitations of it. Competition and is competition fiercer in same-species.
Pollination- Cross + self pollination. Go over in detail , I ignored this.
Neurons - Sensory , direction or impulse , also learn another system other than CNS a neuron is in. Also a disease e.g. Parkinsons- also a treatment e.g. electricity shock I believe.
Lungs - Alveoli ( 3 adaptations - One cell thick, surrounded by capillaries ) Know the diagram you will have to label three parts.
Propagation - Know and adapted stem and root and an example of each and the definitions.
Reproduction - Know the diagram of a penis , where semial fluid is formed , a few others , and a sterile condition and its cause.
